Danfoss APP and APP-S axial piston high-pressure pumps are specifically designed for seawater reverse osmosis duty. Flow ranges from 0.6 to 86 m³/h at pressures up to 80 bar. Super-duplex stainless steel wetted parts and ceramic pistons deliver exceptional corrosion resistance and a service life of 8,000+ hours between major service intervals.

The Danfoss iSave is an all-in-one energy recovery device (ERD) for seawater reverse osmosis that combines an isobaric pressure exchanger, a high-pressure booster pump, and an electric motor in a single compact unit. By recovering pressure energy from the RO concentrate (brine) stream and returning it to the feed, the iSave can cut SWRO energy consumption by up to 60% — dramatically lowering the cost of desalinated water and reducing the size of the main high-pressure pump.
