1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit a contact or quote-request form, we collect the information you enter — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, country, and your message or project details. This information is delivered to our sales and engineering team by email and used to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations, and provide support.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our sites: pages viewed, approximate location (city level, derived from IP address), device and browser type, language, referral source, and interactions such as clicks on phone numbers, email links, or our online store.
- Advertising and demographics data (Google Signals). We have enabled Google Signals, which allows Google Analytics to provide us aggregated demographic and interest information (such as age ranges, gender, and interest categories) about visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have Ads Personalization turned on. This data is aggregated and does not identify you to us individually.
- Advertising cookies. We use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, which may show you our ads on other websites based on your visit to our sites.
- Security and infrastructure logs. Our sites are served through Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request data to deliver content and protect against abuse. Our contact forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which collects device and interaction data to distinguish humans from bots; use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries and prepare quotations for water treatment, energy, and construction projects;
- To operate, secure, and improve our websites and understand which products and content interest our visitors;
- For marketing measurement, remarketing, and advertising effectiveness;
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Legal bases (EU/EEA and UK visitors). Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases: responding to your inquiries and preparing quotations (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering a contract, Art. 6(1)(b)); website security, operation, and first-party analytics (our legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)); advertising cookies and Google Signals demographics (consent, Art. 6(1)(a), where required by applicable law); and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
3. Cookies
Our sites use cookies and similar technologies set by Google Analytics (e.g., _ga), Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager for the purposes described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking cookies does not prevent you from browsing our sites.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising (Google Ads remarketing) may be considered “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended. You can opt out as described in Sections 6 and 11. We share information only with service providers that operate our websites and communications on our behalf — including Google (analytics, advertising, reCAPTCHA), Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, security), and our email delivery provider for form submissions — and where required by law. Inquiry details may be shared with equipment manufacturers or logistics partners solely as needed to prepare your quotation.
5. Data Retention
Google Analytics event data is retained for 14 months. Contact and quotation correspondence is retained while your inquiry or project is active and for up to seven years afterward to meet contract, warranty, tax, and legal requirements, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- Analytics opt-out: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Personalized advertising opt-out: visit Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
- Access and deletion: depending on your location (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
We respond to verified privacy requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30 days under the GDPR and 45 days under the CCPA/CPRA). If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
7. International Visitors
Our websites are operated from the United States, and information is processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses implemented by our providers.
8. Children
Our websites are intended for business audiences and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
10. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know, correct, and delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out of sharing via advertising cookies, use the opt-out links in Section 6, enable the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser (which we honor where required), or contact us using the details below with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of minors under 16, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
